Little Rides was envisioned as a modern children’s mobility brand that sparks joy, confidence, and curiosity -offering strollers, prams, and ride-ons directly from the manufacturer to families around the world. The brand needed to strike a fine balance: it had to be premium in quality, joyful and fun in appeal, yet accessible and affordable for parents across diverse geographies. At its core, Little Rides is about creating magical moments for children and peace of mind for their grown-ups -through beautifully crafted, safe, and value-driven products.

The problem

Despite being a direct manufacturer of high-quality children’s mobility products, Little Rides lacked a distinct identity in the crowded and highly competitive market of kids' toys and rides. They needed a ‘brand’ that stood apart from overly cheap and mass-produced competitors on one end, and over-priced premium brands on the other. Their story, values, and commitment to safety and thoughtful design weren’t coming through. They needed a strategic branding foundation that would reflect their expertise, warmth, and playfulness- while clearly communicating their M2C advantage and global readiness.

The solution

HMLC partnered with Little Rides to build the brand from the ground up- starting with a clear strategy, followed by a vibrant and structured identity system. We defined the brand’s DNA, vision, mission, and values to center around confident parenting, joyful design, and uncompromised safety. The tone of voice was crafted to be warm, empathetic, aspirational yet approachable- speaking to modern parents in India and global markets alike.

Visually, we designed a fun and flexible identity with layered elements:

  • A playful logo that mirrors childhood joy with rhythmic doubled letters and a bright star mascot.
  • A colour palette mixing vibrant reds, neon greens, and purples with soothing beiges-creating energy with elegance.
  • A type system combining expressive modern display fonts with elegant supporting serif faces to balance fun with trustworthiness.

We created a comprehensive brand guideline that covered everything from visual language to brand personality, illustration styles, and tone- ensuring that every touchpoint radiates joy, safety, and purpose. Little Rides’ identity now proudly reflects what it truly is: a brand made for little smiles and big adventures.

To millennials and Generation Z, socially responsible companies are even more important. They believe companies should invest in improving society and look for solutions that assist in those improvements.Companies should share how they are trying to make a positive impact on the world, so the public can see their pro-social initiatives. Showcasing efforts is key so it’s important to learn how to market to millennials because these efforts will sway the choices they make as consumers.Millennials also like to take part in initiatives such as volunteer work or making donations. As ever more companies begin to see the impact their socially and environmentally conscious efforts have on a consumer’s perception, the more chance there is that they will begin initiatives.
